IOTA was developed to meet the needs of enterprise network analysts and engineers. IOTA is an integrated packet capture solution that provides capture, storage, and analysis in a single device. IOTA can be easily installed anywhere, either as a rack mount in a data center or as a portable device.

Easy to use, IOTA does not require any special IT knowledge to set up and use. Additionally, network engineers can operate the system remotely even if they are in a remote location. IOTA's inline circuitry is independent of other interfaces, internal storage, and analysis operations, allowing reliable network monitoring.
